GLOBAL TRIP PACKAGES INCLUDE
- All transfers as detailed in your final itinerary receipt;
- Accommodation on a twin sharing basis, unless otherwise stated;
- Accommodation in a hotel selected at the discretion of Global Trips and the tour provider with a rating of three stars;
- Meals as per selected itinerary with vegetarian options available; and
- Fuel, tolls, and transportation related expenses and taxes, including vehicle operator services, as specified in the itinerary of the purchased package.
GLOBAL TRIP PACKAGES DO NOT INCLUDE
- Any meals and services not listed in the final itinerary and receipt;
- Any photo and video services, parts, chargers, batteries, products, recordings and prints;
- Alcoholic beverages and soft drinks;
- Personal expenses such as tips, telephone calls, laundry, etc;
- Any other service not specified in the prior paragraph or any other service not detailed in the booking itinerary; and
- Any medical, travel, or evacuation insurance.
ADVANCE DEPOSITS and GUARANTEED RATES
Global Trips guarantees the rates listed on this website at time of purchase, conditional on receipt of an advance deposit at the time of booking. Until Global Trips receives your advance booking deposit, all prices listed on the website may be subject to change at the discretion of Global Trips and without warning. Revised prices will always be reflected on your final invoice and receipt.
CONFIRMATION and RESERVATIONS
All trips are guaranteed as booked up to 6 weeks prior to the trip departure date.
Any additional purchases of excursions, activities and upgrades are permitted up to 15 days before the trip date. You will receive a reminder email notification 16 days prior to scheduled departure for you to make any final changes to your itinerary and a final invoice will be sent to you exactly 14 days prior to departure.
CANCELLATIONS and AMENDMENTS
Cancellation requests are deemed effective upon receipt by Global Trips. Amendment requests are deemed effective after approval by Global Trips and your acceptance of any additional terms or costs incurred as a result of the amendments requested, if applicable. All cancellation and amendment requests must be made in writing and properly delivered to Global Trips by mail or email.
REFUNDS OF CANCELLED BOOKINGS
Global Trips will refund fees associated with cancelled bookings on the following bases:
- For cancellations made 60 days or more prior to the trip departure date: full refund of trip purchase price less the advanced booking deposit.
- For cancellations made between 30 to 59 days prior to the trip departure date: 50% (fifty percent) of the total trip price OR the advanced booking deposit, whichever is the lesser amount.
- For cancellations made between 16 to 29 days prior to the trip departure date: [please state rate of refund].
- For cancellations made 15 days or less prior to the trip departure date: no refund of monies paid.
Although Global Trips will make every effort to accommodate your requests, all amendments are subject to availability and will incur per person charges. Amendments adding or upgrading services, transportation, or accommodation are charged at prices of the requested services, transportation, or accommodation at the time amendment requests are approved.
Notwithstanding any of the above, you agree that Global Trips suppliers may separately change their own cancellation and amendment fees. Some suppliers may not refund fees paid. All Global Trips suppliers' cancellation and amendment fees are made pursuant to each supplier's Terms and Conditions agreed to by all parties at the time of booking.
CLAIMS and COMPLAINTS
If you have a complaint about your trip please inform your trip leader immediately so they can rectify the situation as soon as possible. Should you remain unsatisfied following the efforts of your trip leader, please submit your complaint in writing to Global Trips within 15 business days of the end of your trip.
HEALTH and DISABLITIES
All Global Trips tours have been designed to be suitable for healthy adults. Most tours require some degree of physical activity that but such activities are not beyond the abilities of a generally fit and healthy adult. Should you require any assistance over the course of the trip, the Global Trips staff will be available to help you.
Please note any specialist care should be provided by your own care provider.
Global Trips can provide only general information about health and vaccination requirements required for your trip. You are advised to consult a qualified health professional regarding general and specific health concerns and/or requirements. Some overseas trips may not have facilities for the disabled. It is your responsibility to confirm any special needs directly with Global Trips at the time of making the travel enquiry or booking.
PASSPORTS, VISAS, and TRAVEL DOCUMENTS
Global trips can provide general information about passport and visa requirements for your trip. However, your specific passport, visa, and immigration-related requirements are your responsibility. Please confirm passport and visa requirements with the relevant embassies and/or consulates. Global Trips, the principal(s), operator(s), and supplier(s) accept no responsibility if you cannot travel because of any passport, visa or immigration requirements and regulations.
You must be in possession of all travel documents required for you to complete your trip. You will need a valid passport and visa(s) as required for entry, departure and travel through each destination point along the itinerary of the tour. You must be in possession of a valid passport, required visa(s), permits, certificates, vaccination certificates, and insurance policies as required throughout the duration of the trip. You are solely responsible for obtaining all such documents, visas, permits, and certificates; and for any adverse consequences resulting from missing or defective documents.
Any information or advice given by Global Trips regarding visas, vaccinations, climate, clothing, baggage, special equipment, etc. is purely advisory and provided as a courtesy to you. Global Trips is not responsible for any errors or omissions in the information provided.
Your passport must be valid for at least six months after your return date.
You accept that the trips offered on this website may involve a certain degree of adventure and are to be undertaken in a spirit of adventure. It is to be understood that all reasonable measures will be taken to ensure a safe and harmonious trip, but it is also to be understood that there may be occurrences beyond any party’s control. Global Trips shall not be liable to any party whatsoever for any delay, damage, illness, injury, death, or any other loss or detriment to person (whether physical, psychological, or emotional), or property caused materially by an Act of God, war, military operations, terrorist activities, civil unrest, labor difficulties, undue interference by authorities, political disturbances, or any other cause beyond the reasonable control of Global Trips.
Furthermore, Global Trips shall not be held liable for any damages, injuries, forfeitures or the like resulting from the actions of any individual client while on tour or in the company of Global Trips employees.
PHOTOS and MARKETING
You consent to Global Trips' use of your images recorded by Global Trips personnel during the trip for advertising and promotional purposes in any medium. You grant us a perpetual, royalty-free, worldwide, irrevocable license to use such images for Global Trips' publicity and promotional purposes.
ERRORS and OMMISSIONS
Although Global Trips have made a concerted attempt to verify the accuracy of statements made in our trip documentation, Global Trips shall not be held responsible for unintentional errors, omissions, or misrepresentations that does not substantially alter material portions of the trip or that Global Trips was not aware of at the time such statements were made.
You need to create an account to use some features of the website such as the trip customization options. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account password. You are responsible for all activities that occur in connection with your account and agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
Your account is for your personal, non-commercial use only. You may not impersonate someone else or create an account for anyone other than yourself, provide an email address other than your own, or create multiple accounts. Global Trips reserves the discretionary right to close your account at any time without prior notice.
